Why Do We Want Veterans to Have PTSD

When it comes to veterans and mental health, I’m usually one of the first, and loudest, to argue that it’s often not PTSD.  Studies of veterans deployed in the recent conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq estimate the range of PTSD prevalence between 4.7% and 19.9%.
