Mining Comedy from Tragedy

Several years ago, when I was still living in New York, I decided to scrape my warmed-over skeleton pile (“Caitlin”) into a cab and check it in to the ER. It was a relatively quiet night for an Emergency Department I was finding sadly familiar.
